Wow! Talk about crazy dreams last night! I woke myself up several times obviously yelling rather loudly - poor Felix must have wondered what the heck was going on! One fearful feline squirted out the bedroom to find a safer place to sleep!
I had my Quiet Time, uploaded my blog, did my exercises and my history lesson online, then showered a got dressed for the day.
I put on a load of washing and hung it out to dry before leaving for town. Shoo! I could not have chosen a busier time to be on the road - the traffic was horrible but hey I managed to get to where I was going without any problem.
I went to Settlement City and had my hair trimmed, did some shopping there, then on my way home I stopped at the Koorong shop to buy myself a cover for my Bible which is beginning to come apart at the seams.
Then it was home again, home again, jiggity-jog. AS I opened the front door there was Felix to greet me. Shame he really does miss me if I go out. And he followed me around like a shadow for the rest of the day.

I had some of the butter chicken for lunch today as I was feeling peckish which means I will only have something light for supper - possibly just fruit and cheese.
I did a little more knitting in the afternoon with Felix wound up like a pretzel alongside me, making sure that I was Outside with me going nowhere!

Later in the afternoon I brought my washing in and ironed it all. Good girl! I also washed the bedlinen off the bed that Mich' slept in and will wash my bedlinen early in the morning and put on new linens when I leave here next week.
Ken contacted me just after five o'clock this afternoon and sent me a video of a hailstorm on the farm. I am praying that we do not get it here in Port Macquarie as it looks as if it may be heading this way. My car is out in the open and I have nothing to protect it from the hail if the storm comes here.
Well, hallelujah! Felix and I did not have to go through any great storm, but we did get Snuggled up to me on the couch
some rain. Felix stayed close to me all night though just in case!
Felix and I went t bed early as I did not want to take part in any "Trick or Treating" that may happen in this area. I do not believe in Halloween and think in this day and age it is not wise for little children to be out and about at night unless accompanied by some adults.
Although I had had a really quiet and gentle day, I was still really tired so was soon fast asleep and in the Land of Dreams.
What lesson did I learn today? Just to enjoy every moment - even the so-called ordinary moments like washing or hanging the washing out.
What am I grateful for today? That we missed the severe thunderstorm!
My saying for today is ...

A cat is a lion in a jungle of small bushes.” – African proverb
(This traditional cat expression shows how courage can shine regardless of size.)
