I woke up just after one o’clock this morning - must have been dreaming as I do - not sure of why I woke up though. Then I battled to go back to sleep, so in the end I slept in and only rolled out of bed at about six I think, or maybe a bit earlier. I did not check the clock.

Shamara escorted me out our bedroom and towards her bowl - she is still convinced that I may forget the way! Hah! One day she may be right!

After feeding Madame Cat, I went up to my studio to have my Quiet Time and do my Bible Study.

Then I allowed myself time to think, ponder, meditate and plan for Sunday’s talks.

Tony, our pastor, has asked me to address the congregation on the subject of Communion, but I am also doing the Kids Talk before that, as Marg asked me please to take her place, but Tony seems to think I will cope okay with doing both talks!

I pray he is correct!

So today, as it has been overcast and a bit drizzly, I have not done any washing. Instead, I continued my de-cluttering and sorting out of my studio. Yoh! I have a LOT of stuff!

Absolutely all my interests, crafts, and hobbies are up there and so you may well imagine there are lots of bits and pieces far too precious to give away as I still use them when I can. I have quilting, embroidery, knitting, crocheting, sewing, calligraphy, art supplies and papers, scrapbooking things, writing, and so the list goes on and on and on! I need a few lifetimes to complete all the things I would love to do! I hope in heaven, or when there is a new earth that I will be able to continue doing some of these things there!

In the afternoon when I heard Ken up and about, I read him my talk on ‘Communion’ and he said it was fine, but when I give my talk he suggested that I must pause longer in the breaks between paragraphs to allow people to think about what I had just said.

I also made three signs to use during that talk - just words used in my talk done in calligraphy - to help underline the main thoughts.

At about half past four we had a sudden and quick heavy shower of rain which was over before it had begun really!

I am still battling to get de-cluttered, cleaned, dusted, polished and tidy in my studio. Yoh! It is taking far longer than I had hoped!

Never mind, baby steps Gail Morgan. Just baby steps and I will get there.

Tonight another light supper is called for I think -  not sure of what yet, but something light and easy as my energy levels have plummeted in the last hour or so!

Tomorrow, I think I will take a short break from sorting my studio out and clean out the fridges and do the ironing. Should the sun pop out, I will do several loads of washing too.

Tonight, I think I will either read or maybe watch some of my series and allow the day to dissolve quietly while I do so!

What lesson did I learn today? To never give up but to just keep on going.

What am I grateful for today? That I am slowly making progress towards my de-cluttering goals.

My saying for today is …
