I was up nice and early with Felix threading himself in and out my ankles waiting to be fed again. I normally feed him as I get up and then open the home up and let him g out into the garden. We have set up this daily routine, and he is all for it!
After my Quiet Time I showered and got dressed for the day.
I began to look and plan my lessons for Thursday at school. I even rang the school to make sure that I was to teach that day, as some of the other schools where our SRE teachers teach were not able to be there as the children had swimming galas on for two weeks. Good, I am teaching this week! It will be good to be back with the children.
I am sad as at the end of this term I have to say "Good-bye!" to several children who will be leaving to begin High School next year. Most of them I have taught since Kindie and I will miss them.
Today I decided that I would not do anything but knit. I wanted to finish the main section - the centre of this baby shawl - but that really required a LOT of knitting to accomplish that.
Nevertheless, Felix and I sat outside, and he sat on the chair alongside me watching my every stitch, but he soon nodded off.

Felix nodding off ...
Then when the wind whipped up and it was unpleasant outside, we came back inside, and Felix snuggled up to my knitting bag alongside me.

This is one of my favourite photos - of Felix holding my toe with his back leg paws! How sweet is that!
I am delighted to inform you that I listened to many podcasts today and I also completed the centre of my baby shawl! Yahee!
Tomorrow I will have to get some other work done. I need to iron all the bedding I have washed, sort out the Tupperware shelf in the kitchen, plan and complete my SRE lessons for school and prepare my talk for "Kid Talk" in church this Sunday!
I hopped into bed at about half past nine tonight.
What lesson did I learn today? Perseverance!
What am I grateful for today? All the time I have had to knit my baby shawl.
My saying for today is ...
