Blog for Saturday 4th January 2025

Oops! I typed 2024 there by mistake and had to correct myself – habit!

Today we all woke up at various  times and in various states of awakeness! Paddy had had another terrible night of no sleep – or only a little sleep, so hopefully tonight he will be able to have a really good sleep.

After his breakfast Paddy set off again to tackle the bottom shed and later Tamryn joined him to do the same. Both of them brave humans as that project is enormous!

Ken after his breakfast was also galvanized into action and he set off for the Pteridium Camp to finish the slashing he did there the other day. That took about two hours and then he came back and slashed the whole of the Small River Camp. That took the time up to after five o’clock.

What lesson did I learn today? Head down, toush up, keep going until the job is done!

What am I grateful for today? All the work that Paddy and Tamryn have been doing on the farm.

My saying for today is …
