I had a restless night last night waking up several times and then battling to go to sleep again. I think it was the mugginess that one gets just before a storm that kept waking me up.

I saw on getting up early this morning that we had had more rain again, but at least it was cooler and the mugginess was gone.
I had my Quiet Time and uploaded my blog for yesterday before showering and getting dressed for church this morning.
I left here at just after nine o'clock and on the way, Ken phoned me, but I will not answer my phone when I am driving, but as soon as I got to church, I returned his call.
Apparently, poor guy when he went to leave the farm in the ute, the ute refused to start. So, he used the forks on the tractor to give the ute' a little bit of a push but ... the ute' took off and Ken could not catch up to it, so it rolled down the hill from the top shed all the way down to the dam! Much to Ken's horror! He eventually managed to rescue the ute', which gratefully was still in one piece and got it started - it just meant he was rather late for church! He arrived looking flustered and not really that amused!
After church we went to the Wauchope Country Club for lunch together, which was nice. Ken had the pork ribs which he loves, and I had the petite roast of the day with veggies - (which was beef today.)
While we were eating Andy, our next-door neighbour came across - as they were celebrating a farewell to friends at a large table of people near us. We had a good chat to him and caught up on some of their news.
After our meal together I had to bid a fond farewell to my man and head back into Port Macquarie, where Felix was waiting ever so patiently for me. Shame, he was so happy to see me back home.
But before I went home, I went to the Coles shop just down the road from here and bought a few items that I needed.
Once home I put the groceries away and settled down on the couch with Felix as company. We watched a little TV together.
Suddenly, the day dissolved into night and it was time to crawl into bed.
It had been another lovely day in my life
What lesson did I learn today? To be thankful for my life.
What am I grateful for today? A meal with my man.
My saying for today is ...
