Aaah! What a lovely sleep I had last night and guess what? Felix came and slept on my bed with me. So, he has finally decided that as a human being I am okay!

I got up and had my Quiet Time and my Bible study for today well, on Sundays, there is no study as such, but rather a looking back over the week’s studies.
Mich’ took me out to a café on the water in the center of Port’ called 'The Shack’ where we sipped our coffees and chomped on some delicious banana bread, while we watched the passing parade of people, kids, and a huge variety of canines. It was a magical way to pass the last few moments with Mich’.
We stopped at Coles before Mich’ left to drive all the way home, back to the Central Coast.
Suddenly it was very quiet without her.
Mariaan sent me an urgent message to say that some guy was going to be calling in at 8.30am today to put the remaining white pebbles in the palm tree boxes, but so far he has not pitched that I know of. Maybe he is meant to come on Monday not today? I will check with her later.
Nah! He arrived midday which was fine, and he filled the palm tree boxes up with white pebbles and they look very nice. Mariaan has recently converted her garden into a Japanese styled one and it looks so nice and neat.

Mich’ got back home safely having narrowly missed being hit by a two-car pileup behind her!
Yoh! It is horribly quiet without Mich’ with me now. Felix took to curling up on my knitting bag alongside me as I watched some Netflix movies this afternoon. He really is a little snuggle-bug of a cat. I hope he chooses to sleep with me again tonight.

This afternoon I swept, vacuumed and mopped and tomorrow morning I will dust – not that anything looks dusty or dirty anywhere!
In the early evening, I started a new series – “Territory” and will see how that goes. It will be nice for me to have some series to watch each evening before I go to bed.
Today I began to look at my SRE lessons for school on Thursday but will have to complete them tomorrow. We did not get to play the new game I had hoped to teach the
children this last Thursday, so we have that to play this coming one.
What lesson did I learn today? Look for the good, for the wonderful, and for the lessons that each day brings.
What am I grateful for today? For the time, care and love Mich’ gave me when she was here with me for the week.
My saying for today is ...
