I woke up just before four and lay like a lazy lump of lard in my bed for a; little while longer, before propelling my body up and out of said bed!
Later, when Mich' came downstairs we had a coffee and some biscuits as we listened and watched another DVD of the Book of Daniel - today we did chapters 9 and 10
After that we had some breakfast and then we played a game or rather, we finished a game from last night of Bananagram as we had another coffee.
Then Mich' went upstairs to do some work on her laptop and I did the ironing from our washing yesterday.
I also got all my clothes out to pack later in the day. I packed most of my things just before I got into bed.
I am delighted to tell you that I have finished the smocking on the front of the little dress I have been working on, and the two sleeves, and now only the embroidered bows need to be made.
When I eventually get back home to the farm, I can do the machine sewing to get this little dress finished. I would like to have it done before Tayla has their little baby girl - who is expected to arrive at the beginning to mid-December.
In the early afternoon Mich' suggested that we needed more chocolate - so off she sped to the local shop to get us some. I did not even bother to protest weakly!
What lesson did I learn today? Life is nicer when eating chocolate!
What am I grateful for today? To all those people who create chocolates!
