Yoh! I had a terrible night’s sleep last night – I just kept waking up, but I had little Felix snuggled on my feet and who was there for me. Bless his four paws!
This morning, I got up just after three o’clock and Felix followed me around, poor feline! Eventually mid-afternoon, he collapsed at my feet under the desk and was sound asleep, poor little guy! Hopefully we both have a restful sleep tonight!
One very tired feline under the desk at my feet!
This morning, I did my washing and hung it out to dry on Mariaan’s clothes horse. Then I came inside and pulled out all her plastic and Tupperware containers and gave them a wash as some of them were rather sticky. Possibly caused by the sea air. Anyway, I cleaned the shelf and graded all the containers into sizes and put them back tidily for her. Shame, she works hard and that is a job (sorting of said containers) is such a pain to do, so I did it for her. I am hoping it will be a help for her, because I know she has visitors arriving not long after I go back home.
Container shelf tidied!
Tonight, I also had to put out the bins – Red and Green bins for this week, I believe. Shoo, I wish we had that service on the farm.
I have been listening - off and on - all day to the USA presidential election results. And as before no one really knows who the next president of the USA could be! I find it interesting listening to the arguments for and against each candidate. I used to love debating when I was at school, and I think that is why I love listening to all this gumph! And as much as people say they do not care about the USA elections – we in the rest of the world will be affected by the result for sure!
I did some weeding for Mariaan but shoo, it was really warm out there today. Thanks goodness all the stones keep the weed problem down.
Tonight, as I put the bins out I felt terribly suburban! Mrs Townie herself!
What lesson did I learn today? To find how I can bless Mariaan in some small way.
What am I grateful for today? Although I only slept a few hours last night I have not been tired at all today!
My saying for today is …
