A new day was busy sneaking across the sky in the distance, unseen by me yet at four o’clock in the morning, but soon enough the sky brightened and there was the new day I had been waiting for! Oh no! My body yelled silently when my alarm clock began her horrible little early morning ditty. I could not believe my time for sleeping was over for today. I managed to shuffle out of our bedroom without sulking and made myself a mug of coffee and went up to my studio to have my Quiet Time. It is a “Happy Birthday Robert!” to day – Robert being one of our three sons-in-law. I phoned him later in the morning as it is his birthday after all, no need to wake the man up when I got up! I can honestly tell you that I did not bounce out of bed smiling at four o’clock this morning, Nah, it was more like a shuffle with eyes still closed that happened!
