So true!

I went to bed nice and early last night – in fact, I fell asleep while listening to one of my audio books. A common happening I fear, which means I have to do a lot of re-winding in the mornings!

Again, I had another battle with the internet this morning, but thankfully it was only for a short while, so I was able to upload my blog from yesterday. It was frustrating to say the least though.

I have also managed to sort out the daily Bible readings which had a small glitch which I easily ironed out.

Then it was time to get dressed for the day and I have a pile of ironing to do which I left to do in the late afternoon rather.

This morning I planned to unpack both Ken’s and my cupboards so that we can move them around in our bedroom to give our bed more room. At present we do not have any decent sized bedside tables, and I think the room will look nicer arranged this way. Ken and I will have to put on our “big girl panties” as I think there will be much huff and puff and grunt and groans heard in the process of this move!

Ken said that the cupboards and our queen-sized bed are too heavy for just the two of us to move, so we will have to wait for help. Rats! As I -r-r-r-eally wanted to get that done today.

Well, I managed to carry the heavy container out to the outside verandah and Ken helped me carry the other one – so I got those two moved out of the kitchen today, thankfully.

Seeing we were not going to be moving anything in our bedroom today; I went and sat outside just for half an hour. I am trying to do just that each day when the sun is shining as a little sunshine is so good for one’s health and soul.

I downloaded a whole lot of folders off my old laptop onto an external hard drive for me to take when we go up to the farm next week, so that I can work on cattle information for Paddy. The rest of that stuff is on the farm, so I need to put it all together for him.

I am chuffed that I got that done today.

In the afternoon I did all the ironing, which is wonderful, and tonight we will have the remains of my apricot chicken with some rice that I will make and peas.

I also try to do just a few stitches of my cross-stitch pattern every day; and it is growing one stitch at a time. It will still take light years away to be able to complete it I fear! Never mind, I can only do my best and hope to finish it before I pop my clogs!

Today has been another beautiful day, one of those "Ah-ha!" days.

What lesson did I learn today? I started with the whole learning curve on patience again!

What am I grateful for today? That I moved some of the stuff off my old laptop onto an external hard drive.

My saying for today is …
