Yahee! What a wonderful sleep I had last night in our bed, which is now facing another way – after we did the big bedroom shuffle yesterday. We still have mountains of clothes, shoes, bags, drawers and blah blah fish paste lying around everywhere so hopefully I can get that sorted out today some time. That would be good.

I went through to my study and to my now once-again-working laptop – I am thrilled about that – and had my Quiet Time, uploaded my blog and checked and trashed emails not needed.

Each morning here begins with the cooing of the doves and the melodious call of the magpies – such a beautiful sound to start the day. I feel so blessed.

After my Quiet Time I walked around looking at the incredible mess I have to clean up today – yoh, where have all these clothes and hoo-hahs come from? And I have to put it all back somehow! Great lesson for expanding my patience and placing many things in small space!

Wish me luck as I face the chaos around me, in order to create order once again. I should be good as this whole thing of packing – unpacking – packing – and unpacking. I seem to have a LOT of practice at it recently! They say that practice makes perfect, so I am close to perfection now in that area of my life, am I?

Hah, right! Moving on …

I made myself a coffee and with great determination walked towards sorting the mess out.

It took me less time than I thought it would and again I got rid of excess baggage and my cupboard looks slim, trim and very neat!

I tried to inspire Ken to do the same, but I failed that task miserably! I carried all his clothes and drawers through to the bedroom from the passage and my study for him, but he needs to sort his own clothes out.

I did loads and loads of washing as it was a beautiful, sunny day and I hung it all outside to flap and dry nicely, and it did.

I had hoped to go to Bunnings and get a few things with Ken, but by three o’clock we had not gone anywhere. Maybe tomorrow on our way home from Bible Study Group we can swing by Bunnings then.

I decided to watch a movie that both Mich’ and my sister Dee had recommended that I watch – only three episodes and so that is what I did! Wicked wench!

We have our Bible Study Group tomorrow which is always a great morning out. Then on Wednesday is our Coffee Club – meeting in Erina Fair and this time Ken is coming with me too as Nico is tired of being the only man who attends! And on Thursday we drive up to the farm which I am so looking forward to.

My good man packed all his clothes and whatnots back into his cupboard late this afternoon, so now the carpet on our bedroom floor is visible once more.

Tomorrow is officially Spring, is it not?

Well, whatever … it is in my mind and when we get back from the farm, I am getting stuck into creating a nice garden here.

I went and sat in our little garden for half an hour this afternoon - just to appreciate the warmer weather and sunshine, plus I read one of my many books - so today ahs been a quiet sort of day really.

What lesson did I learn today? To do what I have to do no matter how I am actually feeling about doing it!

What am I grateful for today? That I managed to repack my cupboard and even neater than the first time!

My saying for today is …

The secret of our success is found in our daily agenda.
