Oh ha-ha! Obviously written by a husband! Yahee! I was up and out of bed on the dot of four o’clock this morning. Ready and waiting to see what today would bring me. Each and every day is different so one should really be excited by what could possibly end up being a fantastic day! I went up to my studio and had my Quiet Time and did a little more work on my Kids Talk for Sunday. Today I did an awful lot of cleaning, cleaning and cleaning and there is more still to do! I ne

Blog for Monday 5th January 2026
I woke up at four o’clock and rolled out of bed at ten past four – delaying the getting out of bed bit for a little longer! Silly really, as I love getting up early. I went up to my studio to have my Quiet Time and then I worked on my Kids Talk – or rather I decided what I will talk about on Sunday for the children – which Bible story to tell. Now I need to work on how I will deliver that! I will, in odd moments throughout the week, continue to work on my talk. I had a lot o

I woke up tired … tired … tired! I think I am far too active in my sleep to have a proper rest. Ken says I talk almost non-stop in my sleep, muttering technical things that he cannot follow! I shot out of bed at twenty past four – tsch-tsch! I am getting lazy now days, am I not? All this lying in bed for a ‘little longer’ must stop! At least I seemed to have slept well last night, I do not remember Ken waking me up from a nightmare thankfully. Although it was still dark, I could sense a dampness to the new day, and it was still cool which makes me so happy for all the trees that Paddy has planted on the farm. These last few days have been kind to them. I went up

I woke up late as I had had a very restless night, so I slept in a bit. I woke up sobbing my heart out, my face wet with tears, my pillow soggy and with such a heavy and sad heart. My dream was about my Mum – just a horrible dream about her dying – and it was far too real. When I was up, and throughout the day there was a deep sadness that clung to me as I miss her so. Grief is like that - it wells up from nowhere and unexpectedly. After my Quiet Time I decided that today was

Wow! Happy New Year everyone – may this be the best year yet! I woke up really late this morning as I tried to stay up last night but only managed to stay up until not long after 11pm – such a flaker! I made the mistake of relaxing in one of our leather Lazi-boy armchairs and watching some movies, so soon my eyelids got very heavy and slammed shut! Actually, I watched a really lovely movie – well, I thoroughly enjoyed it – on Netflix, called “Head Full of Honey” with Nick No
